Founded in 1911, we are one of the oldest land surveying firms in the Chicagoland area. Throughout our continuous years of business we have provided high quality plats of survey and land surveying services to the general public, real estate offices, architects, attorneys, engineers, developers, financial institutions, title companies, municipalities, and state and federal government agencies (including original government section line work for the state of Alaska).

About Us
Benjamin Harrison Suhr began in business in 1911, sharing offices with D.L. Walther at 130 N. Lasalle St. in Chicago. He later became county surveyor. The field book and section sheet shown are part of the library of his work that is in the company's present archives in Evanston, Illinois.
